Achievements
Nora Monie is a professional discus thrower proudly representing Team Cameroon on the international stage. From winning the 2015 Texas State Championship to becoming the 2026 African Champion and Cameroon National Record Holder, her journey has been defined by perseverance, consistency, and continual growth.
Her career has included representing Cameroon at multiple World Athletics Championships, earning medals at the African Championships, African Games, Francophone Games, and Islamic Solidarity Games. Every competition has been another opportunity to represent her country with excellence while pursuing her ultimate goal of competing at the Olympic Games.
Beyond competition, Nora is passionate about documenting the realities of life as a professional athlete. Through YouTube, social media, speaking engagements, and community outreach, she shares the lessons she's learned about discipline, resilience, faith, and embracing the journey—both on and off the field.

The Journey Ahead…
is far from over.
My focus is now on preparing for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where I look forward to proudly representing Team Cameroon on another international stage.
Winning the 2026 African Championships also secured my qualification for the 2027 World Athletics Championships in Beijing, bringing me one step closer to competing against the world's best once again.
Every training session, every competition, and every challenge is building toward my ultimate goal: representing Cameroon at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
